The Hyena Electric Bikes Hadron Mk IV is our flagship performance kit, offering the most powerful motor of all our kits with the highest torque, acceleration and top speed. This kit is not for kids or beginners and puts your mountain bike into small dirt bike territory. The good news is the beast can be tamed and comes fitted with a switch that limits power and speed and will prevent you flipping yourself off the back if you grab too much throttle. As with all our kits the Hadron is available in customisable levels of specification to suit your riding style and desired application.
Boasting peak power output of 4000w it is the most powerful electric bike kit in the country, and as far as we know, the world! It has a top speed of over 60km/hr and a mountain of wheel spinning, wheel standing torque off the line that will get you there quickly.
Being virtually silent it has the advantage of being able to be ridden in national parks and all the other places you'd get fined or arrested for riding a motor bike. Riding it on the road anywhere in Australia is against the current rules however - this bike has TWENTY times the maximum allowed power for a road going electric bike!
Power can be limited to street legal limits at the flick of a switch - if you want to give the guys in lycra a chance to catch up!
The kit consists of an air cooled custom modified hub motor capable 4000w peak power, custom modified and tuned high current controller with low speed street legal/economy mode and high speed performance mode, 72v high output lithium battery, high current wiring harness, throttle and regenerative braking.
